This is the FW update package for Intel SSD DC P3700/P3600 Series ES2 drives from firmware 8DV10036 or higher (Bootloader 8B1B0119 and higher) to firmware 8DV10043 (bootloader 8B1B0125) PLEASE NOTE that in order to be able to update the Firmware, bootloader and configuration on the ES2 version of Intel P3700 Series SSD - you need to have Intel NVMe "Debug" driver for Windows (included in this package), for linux in-box driver will work. PC 1.0.0.5 -------------- Please follow this instruction to update the FW: If the drive is in BAD_CTX or ASSERT state, clear the assert first: a) NCAT.exe -drive_list (this will show you the drive health) b) NCAT.exe -drive_index 1 -erase_assert c) NCAT.exe -drive_index 1 -lowlevelformat You may need a power cycle to bring back the drive. After reaching Healthy state of the drive, please proceed to Firmware, bootloader and configuration update. You will need Configuration manager and NCAT 1.2.0. You can use either Win or Linux version. 1. iSSDCM_win32.exe -drive_index 1 -firmware_update 8DV10043_signed.bin 1a. If you are updating from Frmware 8DV10036 - Drive is expected to be in BAD_CONTEXT_1015 state after FW update. 1b. No BAD_CONTEXT expected if updating from firmware 8DV10E41 Under Linux, you may need to power cycle to apply firmware update 2. NCAT.exe -drive_index 1 -bootloader_update 8B1B0125.bin If drive in BAD_CONTEXT state, follow 2a step, if not, go to step 3. 2a. NCAT.exe -drive_index 1 -lowlevelformat Drive in Healthy state after llf. 3. NCAT.exe -drive_index 1 -update_config Drive in NO_CONTEXT_7 state after update. 4.
