ftp.tadpole.com://pub/sbu/Alpha/1H3-Driver/eodriver.exe and should be copied in binary mode. When the file is on the ALPHAbook system disk it should be checked using the following command: $ analyze/image eodriver.exe If any errors are reported, check that the FTP transfer was OK (eg not binary mode) before reporting the problem to us. If the file checks out OK then copy it to the site-specific driver directory as follows: $ copy eodriver.exe sys$specific:[sys$ldr]sys$eodriver.exe Now reboot. For your information, OpenVMS V6.2-1H3 is already released from Digital and will boot and load on an ALPHAbook directly from a Digital CD. We have not moved over to it yet as there is a bug in the graphics server which causes it to exit when the user logs out. We are waiting for a fix to this.
