AUX_3.0.1_Install.toast_image ----------------------------- Complete A/UX 3.0.1 install distribution. Contains a small Macintosh HFS partition and a large A/UX UFS partition. AUX_3.0.1_Install_Boot_Disk.diskcopy_image.bin ---------------------------------------------- The Macintosh start disk. Contains a small System 7 with System Enabler 1.1 to make it bootable on newer Macintosh Quadra systems (e.g. Quadra 650). It is created by Apple Disk Copy. Start your Mac [1] with this disk and insert the A/UX 3.0.1 Install CD in the CD-ROM drive [2]. From now you should be guided through the installer. AUX_3.1_Update.toast_image -------------------------- After installing A/UX 3.0.1 you may update to A/UX 3.1 with this CD. Notes ----- [1] See G.02 in the FAQ.aux for supported Macs. [2] See D.11 in the FAQ.aux for supported CD-ROM drives. toast_image's are created by Adaptec Toast 3.5 via "SCSI Copy" and "Saved as Image". You should be able to burn this with any CD-R burner as raw image. The toast_image's are compressed by gzip (GNU gzip).
