The 33MHz NeXT Color Slab Motherboard Schematics have been 
submitted to:

The 16 pages were redrawn from 11 x 17" copies of the 
originals. They were drawn in Adobe Illustrator 7.1 on a 
Mac and saved in PDF format. They have been extensively 
proofread. Items in red are unreadable on the copies and 
are a 'best-guess' based on a cross-reference to the 33MHz 
Cube Motherboard Schematics. In any case, the schematics 
are more than 99% accurate.

The Turbo Color Slab Motherboard Schematics share many of 
the same features with the Turbo Cube Motherboard 
Schematics. The Cube pages were drawn first. After they 
were completed, 14 of 16 pages were duplicated and the part 
numbers and IDs were then converted to correspond to the 
correct Turbo Color Slab IDs.

Like the originals, the schematics are formatted to an 11 x 
17" (tabloid or ledger) page format. The location grid 
(A-D, 1-8) was copied from the originals, but was resized 
to about 95% of its original size. This will prevent 
cropping when printing on an 11 x 17" printer. The use of 
color was limited, likewise to facilitate clear, dark 
printing on a Black and White 11 x 17" format printer.

The NeXT Schematics diverge in some small ways from 
traditional schematic drawings. For example, the inverted 
signal

disappears slightly behind the chip it connects to, instead 
of abutting it. The same goes for the Nand Gate when the 
connector is inverted. Another example is that crossovers 
do not loop. No attempt was made to modify the schematics 
in any way to conform to any standard. For the most part 
they were drawn AS IS. 

One exception to this is the connector symbol (the solid 
dot). There was no attempt to use connection dots in the 
original Turbo Color Slab schematics. They exist in the new 
documents because they were present in the Turbo Cube set 
and were correct.
