The OpenStep 1.1. release is, hm, somehow "unofficial". I don't know
where this release exactly "emerged" in the first place.

To unpack it, please use GNU's tar implementation!! Otherwise the
you'll experience directory checksum errors.

The attached usenet-posting states, that this OpenStep release was
probably enhanced by ex-Lighthouse members. It features a few bug-fixes
over the official 1.0 release.

Unter Ultra macht es wirklich keine Probleme.
Wir haben es gar in einem Projekt auf einer 1000E eingesetzt mit
Intel/Solaris als X-Clients, was bis auf ein Fontproblem sehr sauber
laeuft.

Besser ist aber die aktuelle Version durch ftp.lighthouse.com zu holen
Der Nachteil ist, das man das komplette JavaPlan mitziehen muû.

Scheinbar hat Lighthouse ein bischen an dem Zeux rumgefummelt, da es mit
epssen keine Probleme mehr gibt und auch ein paar andere Bugs weg sind.
