Hi,

Few days back I was having a problem IPLing zVM.
With the help of the community, I finally was able to get it up.

Basically, I made some changes to the config, which I am attaching below. I also installed a 3270 emulator, CryptoTerm.
I used the Hercules dasdinit utility to initialize my DASD defined in the config.
I proceeded to start Hercules.

I then connected from the emulator to my IP address or hostname to port 3270.
For the next step I went to the Hercules console and I IPLed zVM as follows: ipl c:\zvm\zvm.ins

After few seconds, VM started right on the 3270 console which I connected before.

I hope this will save some time.
